I hope as many people as possible see the July 7th USA Today article

Hello WFL fans!!! This site is great!!! I am a collector of WFL memoribilia

I am also working on a book about the league and there are other people

Fantastic web page! I was born a year after the WFL folded, but I have

It took me a while to find WFL info again (I lost previosly obtained
material) which I need to decide on cities for my own personal league, as
well as restrictions on giving any particularcity a name its had before
in any league, in any sport. (Forinstance, I couldn't use the New York Stars,
or the Jacksonville Sharks, so I had to change them to the Pros and
Stallions,respectively. ) Anyway, I found your site very extensive,thorough,and
informative. I always have an eye or two open for new leagues(the more,
the merrier!), and I'm retro 70's all the way ! Who knows,I might create
a web page with my own league featured,since I'm always creating new leagues,
anyway ! But I did enjoy yours. Thanks. |

I was 6 year-old kid when the league started, but now I feel that I
was missing this part of football history and it's good that someone remembered
it. Now, with the NFLEurope, the USFL and other leugues, it's good to turn
back and say: "Before any other, the WFL was the first attamp to play football
other than NFL." I hope this league could be re-start in no much time, I
would enjoy it. |

I will be offering an uncut sheet of WFL cards this spring. I have made
a deal with my printer to produce 3 or 4 different sheets of 9 cards each.
If these go over well, then I'll offer additional sheets. If you are interested...leave
word on this guestbook. I'll also be offering a 25th anniversary mini helmet,
although I've hit a snag with the logo design, hopefully this won't KO this
project. If anyone has any pictures of the Birmingham Americans or Vulcans,
