Spent48 years as roving sportscaster Name the sport--I probably covered

I went to the first WFL game played at Randalls Island bet. the NY Stars
and Birmingham. Before the game a water main burst and many of the fans
got drenched (like me). The Stars lost the game in the last minute when
George Mira threw a bomb. I also went to a WFL echibition game, Hawaiians
vs. So. Calif. Sun in Anaheim. I actually got to know one of the guys on
the Sun on a driving trip from the college we both went to home during one
of the breaks. His Suns jersey was in the back trunk. |
