My name is Mike Gunter. I was the waterboy for the Charlotte Hornets
WFL football team in 74 & 75. We used to have practice at Clark Griffith
Park in Charlotte NC. I remember going to practice and the home games. I'm
really glad to see the team has not been forgotten. I'm also im extreamly
sorry to here of the loss of Bob Lambert who was the equipment manager.

It took the minimem wage out of the NFL and set the stage for a liveable
wage for NFL players. This league wrote the standardized rules of what not
to do, if you want a successful league and not drown in debt. The NFL instituted
a lot of the rule changes use today. To bad Vcr's were to expensive to afford
for the normal working "joe" because,myself; they would not be lost treasures.
