TO mike b. The ESPN CLASSIC Treasures of NFL Films is scheduled to air
on saturday july 13 at 7am. Set your VCR. Also whatever happened to the
WFL Hall of Fame site that like this site had so much information about
the gone but not forgotten WFL. If the WFL had started 2 or 3 years later
when the economy started to recover they would have had better money behind
it and might have made it. |

Great site!! It brings back good memories. I worked in the Florida Blazers
Pre-season camp as an athletic trainer. The camp was held at Madison College
(now James Madison Unversity) in Harrisonburg VA. I have a WFL Football
and I am sure I still have some other items/articles about the Blazers in
a trunk somewhere. I will have to go find them now. For a while there, I
thought I was the only one who remembers the WFL. |

Great site! Boy the WFL sure knew how to design uniforms! Today NFL
teams are shedding their colors in favor of more "intimidating" blacks and
dark blues, but it's nice to go back and see uniforms that had REAL color
and vibrance. How 'bout those Southern California Sun outfits?!!! Now THAT'S
a uniform that would look great on TV!
