1975 Season Book - San Antonio Wings Expansion Draft


The World Football League held an owners meeting in Birmingham, Alabama on May 18, 1975. One of the issues at hand was to stockpile the expansion San Antonio Wings. Each WFL club was permitted to protect 25 players. The Wings were allowed to select two unprotected players from each team. Below is a list of those players.

The Wings selected twenty players in the WFL Expansion Draft and six of those players made the final roster for the 1975 season. Below are photos of those players.
